My name is Samantha (Sam). I've been running since I can remember whether it be in pre-school soccer practice, elementary school track meets, high school workouts, or college XC practices. I grew up with really supportive parents who encouraged me to try new things and helped me to get to where I am now. They took me to every after-school practice in soccer, gymnastics, dance, and running, and they still ride the bike with me when I don't have anyone to run with. I, like almost every other college athlete, hope to one day run professionally. They say to do what you love for work, and I love to run, so doing it as my job would be the dream.
